Great cafe come fish and chip shop.. Loads of seating area plus front counter space, good clean toilets and very good prices.. It can get very busy due to its great fish and chips.. Always has a fair number of service assistants, who are polite even when they can get run off their feet.. They try to accommodate large parties of holiday makers, even moving tables together if needed, and frequently check to make sure everything is OK with the food and table service.. This is one of the larger chip shops in Walton on the Naze, its only approximately 150 metres from the beach..

Chips are usually really good, and you get decent sized portions too. There's a restaurant area, and the seafront is two seconds away, so good location. Customer service varies from good to the usual chip shop 'brisk and rude' routine. I was once asked for some sachets of sauce, and, after paying, the staff member just wandered off for a few minutes. When they finally returned, they picked up the two sachets of sauce from next to the till where they'd just been standing before, and dumped them onto the counter in front of me without any words. Dunno what that was about haha! But then again, if you're expecting to be treated like royalty why would you be in a chippy in Essex. The food is good though

Fish (cod) was fresh and we'll battered but was light and tasty. Fish was really good as we're the chips. Also got free tartare sauce as well which was nice. Staff also friendly and have character which is nice. If you're expecting Rick stein quality dining experience you're mistaken, but for excellent fish and chips by the sea. Yes. Deffiently.

Clean and comfortable cafe. Excellent fish, chips and mushy peas. Reasonably priced also. Would recommend.

Very good food crisp and dry, the portion size is very good too.you need to be hungry though to eat here there's 5 of us and we took a dogy bag home with us.. really clean, safe really friendly and helpful, really nice experience.
