Absolutely delicious! Best fish and chips I've had in many years. A real treat for all the family and I'd say a fair price. We all enjoyed our food. Kid-friendliness: Kids were able to have proper fish and chips too instead of just sausage, nuggets, burgers like a lot of places. Wheelchair accessibility: There is disabled access entering up the side and in through the back

Visited during the day where we had a seated meal then visited later that evening for a takeaway. We were impressed both times with the quality and speed at which the food was cooked. The service was very friendly and a great place to eat if you are staying locally

Been here numerous times over the years and never anything other than great fish n chips. Always incredibly busy which speaks volumes. Went again today and nothing changed. Still excellent.
Just picked up a takeaway. Two cod and chips and have to say it’s the worst cod I’ve ever had. Wish I would have looked before I drove away. Cod was crispy rock hard burnt batter with minimal cod inside. Terrible is all I can say !
The worse chips in Essex. Customer service was unbelievable. When I asked to change this batch of chips they refused. I said they looked old and the staff acted as if they didn't understand? the other staff member said " that's WHAT louder tone, chips are". We had to throw them. I do not recommend this place. The Fish was passable. To the owner. It was yesterday 10th August at 7:35pm. It is a shame as we have eaten in before and it was fine.
