This is one of our local Fish & Chips shops, and have to say our favourite, have got our fish and chips from her for years now and now my parents have moved up this way, it's their favourite too, so when we found out it's closed over Xmas, we were devistated, we had to go else where, and to our disappointment none of them were a patch to our Tollgate Fisheries. Look forward to your opening one again!! Hope you had a wonderful break though, Happy New Year to you!! X
The people in this fish and chip shop are always very friendly, you can order on the phone and it's ready at the time they say. The cod and chips is always delicious and you get a good amount of food. It's usually very busy, especially in the summer.Food: 5/5
Amazing fish and chips, we were on holiday and just wish we’d found you on first day not the last one. Definitely will revisit next holiday
Excellent cod and chips not swimming in oil. Lovely crispy batter . Good size standard cod fillet and chips freshly cooked and not soggy. Well wrapped and still hot after a mile walk back to car. All in all a great chippy.
Friendly staff. The best fish and chips batter crispy fish white. Would like the chips a bit more cooked but still tasty. O
What a shame! Fish was dry and tasteless. Used to be so good - a highlight of a trip to Walton. Have recommended to several friends over the years. Cook it fresh or be prepared to throw it away if it's been under the heat lamp too long. Will probably give it another try, hopefully they can redeem themselves. Sorry for the comments but this needs to be addressed or you'll lose customers.
Best chippy in Walton. The lady behind the counter is very pleasant and the food is great. You won’t be disappointed
Best chip pies for miles friendly staff good prices
My sister her husband and their 3 children came to Walton for the day today, as well there were 4 of us. Must do a big thumbs up for the lovely friendly service we received and the polite boy serving us. Food was lovely and very reasonable. Will definitely go there again. Thank you.
Highly recommended, staff are friendly the lady behind the counter is lovely very helpful, The fish is really nice portion size is good value for money plenty of choices burgers, chicken nuggets, sausages chicken burgers, pies and more, the only chip shop I use
