We were house sitting in the area and enjoyed 2 really lovely meals at the Yarborough Arms while there. Really tasty fish and chips and a lovely Sunday roast. Service very good. Staff friendly and welcoming. Great smiles!! Thank you, would recommend. Noteworthy details: Friendly and welcoming.
We loved it so much we went back against her next day! Food was the best I've tasted in a very long time and staff and service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and Vicki and the rest off the staff were very helpful and always had a smile on their faces . Fantastic! I have recommended it to my friends and we will definitely go again soon. Parking: Found parking quite cramped.
We are 5 or 6 one cant always make it old codgers, and we have regular monthly lunch dates...on my recommendation we decided to have a lunch here at the Yarborough..what a great decision...the totally empty plates from all 5 of us told the story really! I had the steak and kidney pie..absolutely delicious, followed by a cracking chocolate sponge with custard and mixed berries..again empty plates all round. One of the very few pubs which will get a return visit..Highly recommended!
Went for a much anticipated Sunday lunch today, was not disappointed: lovely surroundings, great staff, very friendly, the service was spot on, the food fabulous, and not at silly prices either. 2 lattes, 2 Sunday lunches, less than £33. Me & the hubby will definitely be coming back
Twice I have randomly turned up here, once to eat great dish and chips and today just for a coffee. It's welcoming, very clean and has a great atmosphere. Highly recommend. Parking: Parking round the back. Easily available spaces.
Stopped mid journey, at 4pm happy to find this place open. The staff were friendly and chatty, the service was good and the food was fabulous. We had starters and main courses. We will definitely be back. What a find!Food: 5/5
Best pub lunch we've had in ages the steak was so juicy and tender even the chips and the salad we're lovely and home done, could not have enjoyed it more all 4 of us had different and all of us couldn't stop saying how nice it was! The place itself was very comfortable we got a warm welcome and had nice music on and the young lad that served us was lovely and polite I definitely would recommend here it's definitely somewhere I'll keep going.
Another superb out of town pub/restaurant, great value and quality! I met with friends for a pre-Christmas meal and we were very well looked after. I had the roast lamb which was well prepared and plentiful. They catered for my gluten free requirements with ease. Thanks you all and in particular CJ Parking: Parking behind the pub Dietary restrictions: Sunday roast lunch is easily adapted for gluten free and vegetarian options.
Rang up fairly late on Saturday and they managed to fit us in for a table of two, the restaurant was busy but the service was excellent, the staff were very helpful and polite without been overbearing, the food was beautifully cooked and presented and to top it all off the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend and we will definitely return. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces available
Just had a beautiful ' Beef Sunday Lunch '...highly recommend!... Couldn't fault any of it.. Staff were lovely and accommodating and I just really loved the feel of the pub! A little gem!!Rooms: 5/5
