I usually enjoy whatever I get from Yang Sing but thought I'd try the small munchie box tonight. Would not recommend. Small spring rolls had no filling in them and chicken bites weren't very good.....they seemed like leftovers reheated. Also not enough curry sauce. Won't stop going but won't be getting munchy box again
Food was lovely, young man who served me was very present, service quick. The only negative is the decor they need to decorate it looks tired and grubby
Been going for years, they deliver too. Always lovely, no problems Vegetarian options: They sell chips and rice. Vegetable spring rolls. Wheelchair accessibility: There is no step and a large door. It's just a takeaway so there's no toilets available.

Been a regular here for many years. Usually my partner who picks up the order, but the past handful of times it has been me due to partner working. I noticed that there was a new staff member on front of house a few weeks ago December I think despite a small hiccup on the phone, which in part, was my mistake- he was an absolute delight. Very apologetic, well spoken, and very helpful. Having worked in hospitality as a manager for many years, it is people like him that leave customers feeling respected and happy. It is 90% of what makes a customer return. I offered him a tip, but he explained that he was unable to accept due to policy, so hope he sees this instead. As always, great food, and happy to continue my custom here.
First visit to this take away and can honestly say it was perfect. 3 different meals for the family and everyone excellent. Oh dear after many excellent take aways I have just had the worst Beef Curry I have ever had. The Curry sauce was nice however the beef was absolutely inedible. Tough full of fat and if I chewed for hours I still wouldn't have been able to swallow it. Very disappointed .
I highly recommend the yang sing in Monifieth. I normally get something spicy but have had a sore stomach so asked for a chicken omelette. Absolutely lovely and has totally settled my stomach. Will try their Thai dishes next time. Heard they are lovely
I’ve been looking for a good Chinese takeaway in my area for a while as the other ones have sadly diminished through the years. Yang Sing has been in Monifieth for as long as I remember and it was just brilliant! Prices amazing and the food was absolutely excellent. Will be happily returning.
Love this place. Best chinese take away locally. Staff very friendly and happy.
