First time here for my birthday meal. Absolutely lovely owner. Very welcoming. Fantastic customer service. Advised on what was best. Food was absolutely brilliant. Very calming atmosphere. I tried Japanese cuisine for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The flavors convinced me to return for more. On top of it all items are halal. Great vegetarian options also available.

The best Halal japanese resto in Sheffield I have ever tasted. The taste is japanese authentic and the service is awesome. They guarantee all the foods are halal and no non-halal ingredient. Hence, no cross contamination utensils possibilities. Awesome!Food: 5/5
Amazing halal Japanese restaurant. We tried the Chicken Katsu Ramen bowl in a spicy sauce and the beef teppanyaki. Both dishes really tasty and well flavoured. Both dishes well presented. Love that everything is halal, a unique selling point with it being Japanese cuisine. Customer service really great. Owner Kabeer and his wife were very friendly welcoming people and attentive. Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again. Dietary restrictions: Halal food, no alcohol. Lots of vegetarian options. Parking: Side street parking and on street if spaces
I used to regularly order from Yama Sushi, and usually the same dish: special ramen. Today, and the last time I ordered, the ramen was not the same, and not as described on the menu. There was chicken instead of pork, and instructions for spicy broth were ignored. The tempura squid recipe has also changed. I’d like to be refunded for my meal, and I won’t be ordering again.
This is the only item of food I managed to take as the food was really really good! Also me and my friend were really hungry, We were late by 15mins and the place was packed! But still our table was saved! Lodes of selections of different items on the menu. The place is small and a few items we ordered were missing but the waiters apologised and brought them out instantly after, Got chatting to the owner and he was very friendly and lovely : I cannot give anything less than they deserve! Easy 5/5
