On first glance this place looks very nice, however the service is disappointing. We were waiting more than 10 minutes for some chips and curry sauce, which is meant to be fast food! To have the curry sauce over the chips cost £1.80, which seems extortionate. Also, they only take cash, which is very inconvenient. I would not recommend, as the service is slow and the food is overpriced.

Genuinely brilliant chips, probably the best I've had in 20 years. An outstanding combination of excellently cooked chips soft on the inside with a lightly battered exterior without much grease at all. The staff were lovely and seem to genuinely care about doing well. I'll definitely go back when I'm in Mumbles or near Joe's!Food: 5/5

If you're down mumbles way, then Yallops is your must go chippie for really good fish n chips. Best enjoyed on a bench on the sea front with plenty of salt n vinegar. The smell will drive everyone passing by crazy and make them really hungry too. The food is always reliable. Mumbles prices, and cash only. However, worth every penny.

Cod & chips is one of the top takeaway or eat-in meals on the menu. Mouth-watering

Excellent food and a nice seating area. Cash only with an ATM that charges £1. Annoying but not unreasonable.  Vegetarian options: Vegan pies and sousages available  Parking: No parking, but nearby council pay and display car parks ~£1 per hour

Went at 5.30pm and they had no customers and no fish cooked so not expecting any. Partner really fancied chips. Very expensive. Chips were cold, greasy and soggy. Only take cash. Thrown most of it away. I haven't reviewed on here for years, but I'm writing this review sat across the road as it was so bad. Go elsewhere. A business like this doesn't deserve customers.

Horrible fish it was all soggy and chewy, we had two fish and chips in a tray and a gravy £23.50 what the he'll is going on with the chip shops with these prices, are they tying to close their selves down.

Very slow service, very expensive and some of the worst fish & chips I’ve ever had. Was the fish fresh or frozen? I would guess frozen.
