Friendly staff, quiet dining and clean atmosphere. The food is prepared well, the meats aren’t over cooked, very tender in the bowls and dishes. Absolutely exceptional food, hot fresh and very flavorful. Service staff was very polite as well. I do wish the portion of chips was a bit bigger but that's just because they were so nice! Solid recommend to anyone that loves Asian cuisine.
Nice experience and the food was fresh and tasty, the fried squid was a bit disappointing as they were tiny pieces with more batter than squid. Price wise it's not cheap for what you get, expect £20 per head and still be a bit hungry if u have the sushi dishes. Waitress was very nice and patient.
Wonderful food and exceptional service. Stumbled upon this place and have gone back five times already. Good selection of sushi, excellent quality. Noodles and their gyozas are a must try!
Very friendly staff. Freshly made sushi. Some outstanding dishes: octopus balls! We ordered far too much but pushed on through. Prices lower than you'd expect e.g. Sashimi - fresh and plentiful.
Very good especially the sushi, and the squid bombs excellent value for money had a nice time, the restaurant is a bit small, but excellent Hygiene, good drinks it’s opposite to pool Meadow Bus stop, it’s popular among students but all age group enjoy the service and excellent food highly recommended.
Found this place on the Internet, and thought I visit while I was in Coventry. I opted for a flower green tea , miso soup , Avocado maki , Cucumber maki. The atmosphere was amazing and chilled . I was dining alone and made to feel very welcome. The sushi and the miso soup was tasty. And it was my first experience of having a flower green tea. Customer service was excellent and asked how I was and the food. And its very good prices , my meal £11.40. I definitely be back again and the whole experience was exceptional Yours a sushi lover
The atmosphere and decor here were fantastic. I had the chicken katsu ramen, it tasted great, and portion sizes were good. There were plenty of halal and vegetarian options as well.
Trick or treat? I was grateful to be invited by Karro and Leo having dinner @yakiisushi before Halloween. Last time I tried their starters which were awesome. Karro said the must try item @yakiisushi must be sushi. @yakiisushi 4 Fairfax St, Coventry CV1 5SR WHAT WE HAD Vegetable Gyozas Special Homemade Chips Prawn Katsu Curry Chicken Wings limited time offer Sushi platter Avocado King Prawn, Salmon Dragon Eel, Salmon Special, Lion Roll The chips were seasoned with chilli and salt. It’s crispy and tasty. This is so far the best chips I ever had in UK. This is definitely a perfect starter especially with beer but also good with wine Prawn Katsu Curry consisted of 6 king prawns and the portion was huge. The curry sauce was thick and spicy. I loved it mixed with the rice. So flavourful and delicious The sushi platter was tailor-made. It combined all the best rolls and nigiri. They were awesome and I should have another post for this beautiful sushi platter What’s your plan in Halloween? Fabulous!! Went with friends and shared some sushi plus a hot dish. Incredibly tasty sushi, totally on another level! Also had the best Chicken Katsu Curry, definitely recommended! The owner is such an amazing host and cook, and everything is reflected on the quality of service and food. Must go!
