I had an aubergine ground pot delivered. While the taste was good loved the flat noodles, they are like dumpling dough and it is not something you usually find in Chinese restaurants,nHowever, my portion also had pork belly. I don't think it was supposed to, if I was a vegetarian or would be a problem. Also note that it was very spicy so you should specify if you can't handle it.
Small crawled place. A bit heavily smell of frying oil.nBut the taste is really authentic! Large portions, decent price.nStaff were friendly, but they are clearly quite tired at dinner shift, as they needed to be reminded twice or three times for our added orders.nWould recommend people to go in a small group of close friends or family.
Excellent food with a menu which is slightly different and more interesting than other Chinese places in Edinburgh. The standout aspect of this restaurant is that this is genuinely the warmest and friendliest place that I have been in Edinburgh. The women who run the place are friendly, meticulous and have pride in their work.
It's one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to. The service was very good. The lady who served us was so friendly and helpful. Other staff members are nice and polite too. We ordered ground chicken pot and sweet and sour porkcan't really remember the name. The dishes were amazing, especially the sweet and sour pork. I love it so much. The pork was crispy, and the sauce was not too sweet, not too sour. It was perfect. The dishes were big. We couldn't finish the chicken. We took away the rest of the chicken.nI highly recommend it, and thanks for hospitality.
Food was really good. The Owner was a friendly lady. Seat reservation is Highly recommended as they are small and popular. Especially for large groups. We had the diguo chicken and it tasted so authentic. The portion is enough for two people. We paid 32.8pounds and we added bak choy and additional pastries.
