The business is owned by Norman and Jennifer Wright. Norman inherited the business from his father in 1984. Since then there have been many changes. There has been a clear move towards stocking fashion brands and maintaining it’s independant ethos: selling quality product with a quality service.

If you're in Dunoon and looking for Kilt Hire for a special occasion, then this is the place...After viewing their online brochure, I hired a kilt for a family wedding and was delighted with the professional service and quality of the Highland attire. The Grey Spirit Kilt, Semi-Dress Sporran and Grey Tweed Jacket fitted perfectly thanks to the advice and measuring up of the owner. A fitting was arranged at my convenience prior to the big day including the proper way to lace up Ghillie Brogues. Wrights Clothing & Footwear come highly recommended!

An excellent shop with swift and freindly service. 
Upon entering I was greeted instantly by the owner who was not only freindly and helpful. He is also very experienced in the field and able to provide a top class service.
When returning for a second time to purchase shoes. I was met by another employee. Again a warm welcome and she appeared to be trained to a high standard of service also.
Top marks all round. Easily the best gents clothing shop in Dunoon and the surrounding area.

When my husband needed to buy shirts and trousers Norman Wright (the owner) was so helpful. He gave my husband item after item to try on until he found what he was looking for. Norman was very happy to give advice on style and fitting. He even offered a tailoring service if it was not quite right.

I would recommed this shop for anybody who wants the personal service offered by an indepedant owner, who genuinely has time for his customers and knows his trade.
