Very steep climb up to the top, unless you park on old London road and walk across the field. Fantastic views across the countryside for 180 degrees.
This is just a great walk, not straight forward to find, it is signed but sometimes part of the fun to locate them!nHowever well worth the effort, yes it's uphill but a gradual climb with plenty of benches on the top to enjoy the amazing views on a clear day! Some paths are rough & could be slippy so not for everyone but for those who can and in the area well worth a couple of hours to enjoy.
We had a gorgeous walk on the hills, following a recommended Komoot walk from Wotton, through the woods and to Tyndale’s Monument.nThe paths are kinda well signposted but there are actually so many of them it can get confusing! Luckily, even with my very vague direction sense we were able to meander to the monument.nThe woods are beautiful, with bluebells and wood anemones in flower. There was also almost no litter! The sections along the exge of the hills gave great views too, across to Wales and other equally exotic lands nWe spent a couple of hours doing a circuit of the hills but you could certainly spend longer and dogs would love it.
