Great insight into the way of life back then from the house rooms with audio tales to the old works and furnace tunnels. The glass blowing was very interesting, Charlie explained the various stages of blowing glass and how temperature dependant each stage was. Fantastic to see a bowl made and how colour was introduced. Nice cafe and fun/interactive area for children. All in all an enjoyable afternoon.

Information was presented transparently and the presenters had a very clear idea of what they were talking about. I could see right through what they were selling at the gift shop but overall I heartily recommend this cutting edge interpretive centre. ;]'

Lived near for over 10 years and didn't know it was there. We took kids to do the glass craft class and museum was well worth a visit. We'd like to go back and see glass blowing class which you can observe

Very informative. Decent cafe. Live glass blowing. Crawling through the underground tunnels where the glass was made. Interactive exhibitions. History of the town. It's a great place.
