Never stayed here but the new owners are part of the local community and are very knowledgeable of the opportunities to explore this hidden corner of the national park.

If you like hostels as they should be; simple, friendly, and I expensive then Wooler hostel is ideal. All you need. Great location as well.

Hostel was quiet and clean, showers not very easy to regulate, especially if you wanted them cooler

Lovely quiet hostel, very good ambience whatever time of day, friendly and very helpful host always willing to help and his staff.Kitchen well equipped and clean, plenty of places to eat in wooler too.Most areas of Northumberland are accessible within an hour or two, plenty of local walks too.One of the best hostels I have stayed in for a while and definitely going back.
