A village church with some fantastic features, the altar sits in a room with a vaulted roof that gives the feel of a cave and doesn't show this on the outside. There is a carving on the wall of the Adoration of the Magi. Social reformer Josephine Butler is buried in the church yard and information on her is available in the church. There are also a number of war grave near the entrance to the church yard
Absolutely beautiful little church, we got married here in 1986, we had our 2 children christened here & renewed our vows here too . Very well kept grave yard & the stream is lovely when it's full.
