Many thanks to the lovely lady on reception who booked a telephone consultation for me, very much appreciated thank you. All of the team have been so helpful when I need to make appointments for a relative. Thank you for doing a great job throughout the difficult times
Appalling. They refuse to give a face to face appointment even though NHS England now say they should. I stood at the pharmacy window for about 10 mins before anybody bothered to come over and see me, the reception staff are supposedly far to busy to answer the phone and then trying to get an appointment to see a GP is practically impossible. Even after being told by NHS 111 and Dorchester A&E that my daughter needed a face to face, they STILL only offered a telephone appointment the following afternoon. There is one GP at the surgery who is a shining light however the rest in my opinion are an utter disgrace to the profession. It's no wonder that this surgery is constantly ranked as the worst in Dorset
I've had reason to complain in the past about this surgery. But I want to say that today I was really impressed. Following a bit of a mix up with my appointment for a health check, I saw nurse Ruth and Dr Dennison. They were both so helpful and kind. Dr Dennison is a real asset to the practice and I was delighted to learn that he is a partner and so will be staying ! It's so refreshing to see a Doctor who is both very thorough and treats you with respect and kindness. Thank you so much.
Thank you everyone at the surgery today and over the past few days at a difficult time over the phone and in person. i cannot understand the negative reviews as in my experience everyone has been pleasant, understanding and happy to help every time I have visited. Keep up the great work everyone your doing a great Job
You can no longer book appointments for the day. There is an open surgery every morning so you sit and wait for hours and see the doctor which seems rather counterproductive. That said the doctors, nurses and admin staff are all really nice and it's clean and tidy with free parking. Would ve nice to have same day appointments again.
Consistently poor and unhelpful service from Dr Mugford which is clearly now common knowledge. Extremely reluctant to help or prescribe in most circumstances. Have now changed GP. Strongly advise to avoid.
Waited 45 minutes today for my appointment no one from reception taking the time to tell you what's going on to busy chatting to each other
Very good doctors can get an appointment on the day.
Very rude staff especially on reception, very unhelpful and a couple of the doctors have been very rude too
Useless quite possibly the worst surgery I've ever been to.
