Ordered a large chips, fishcake A proper one with a slab of fish sandwiched between two slices of potato and deep fried, battered sausage, scraps and homemade Tartar Sauce. Food was amazing and very tasty, portions generous, friendly staff and quick service.Food: 5/5
Today I tasted their food it was yummy and fresh as well. Service was good & the environment was nice & cozy There was also an arrangement for dine in but I took away my order for having lunch at home with my hubby. 5* for quality 1* for the smallest fish I've ever been served, sorry but for £9.90 I should be full and normally save some for the next day! But this wasn't possible, it's such a shame as their food is brilliant... Let down by portion size, unable to enjoy eating!

This place is my fav in UK! The batter on fish is awesome. The chips are perfect. Friendly service an all .. you can get bigger portions elsewhere but this is the quality portion. Great selection of drinks to go with it too.
With the job i do, i visit a lot of fish n chip shops. This is by far the best in Yorkshire imo. Chips are lovely and crisp, with fluffy insides. Beautiful. Great, friendly staff too.Food: 5/5

Really genuinely lovely people run this fish and chips shop. You get a great ultra characterful New York welcome from the proprietress and wife of the proprietor who is English. All the very best in a good 'ole Anglo American Alliance. Outstanding and unmissable addictively repeatable Food: 5/5
