A true Yorkshire chippy. Set in a back to back sandstone house, this chippy reminds me of my youth back in the 1970s. The friendly staff will greet you with a smile and chat with you as they prepare your order. The boss does his best to keep the prices low but the quality never varies Food: 5/5
Lovely friendly staff, good service and clean bright space. Unfortunately the Fish & Chips were dissapointing. Chips were overdone and tasted burnt. The sausage was overdone and the curry sauce was cold.
Great local fish and chips. Freshly cooked. The batter in my opinion is perfect. Chips are very clean and cut like chips should be. Very clean and friendly staff. Will return again.
Not a huge portion for the price and even though I had Haddock it didn't really have much in the way of flavour. Nicely cooked but I wouldn't race back.
Delicious fish and chips, and Benshaws Cream Soda on sale too! The ultimate combo in my opinion Lots of options available on the menu, including a lightly battered option if that's your thing.
