Actually I have read the reviews and I don't think they've very fair, yes its difficult to get through in the phone but I've never been turned away when I have got through, I find it better to leave it till about 9.15. I never have found the staff to be rude, yes they are firm but god knows they have to be! To all the people complaining about the attitude of the reception staff would ask that they check their own manner as I have heard first hand how these staff get spoken to, I for one have found them to be nothing but helpful!
I have recently transferred to Woodsetton, i was worried because of the reviews. But I’ve seen the same doctor twice, she has been excellent, listens and is proactive in the support she offers! It’s refreshing to have a doctor that actually listens and genuinely cares about her patients
Only been with this practice 2 years, thankfully I've not needed to see a GP often but I've not really had a problem getting an appointment. It can take a while to get through, I have called later in the day and been offered appointment. I can only recall one time where couldn't get one the same day. I only have one criticism and that is when I had a telephone appt to be assessed for acute back pain which unsurprisingly was wrongly diagnosed, although I do see the value of telephone appointments when appropriate.
Posting on behalf of my daughter who had an issue that needed sorting asap with her meds and struggled to get appt.nCame into reception with her to try and sort it out, young brown haired girl very polite welcomed us over to her side of the desk with a smile and was very interested in what my daughter had to say with her problems. She was very efficient and resolved the problem. Sorted out her meds and got them done urgently and booked my daughter an appointment as she been struggling to get through via phones. Want to thank the lady for her help really went above and beyond and sorted my daughters problems out finally!
I just want to thanks Doctor Nasreen Khan She is such a gem in a real mean truly appreciated
