I'm in my 70s now but can remember using this shop (much smaller then) as a child when taking trips to Rosehill Park or Rotherham on the "trackie" (a bus with wheels and tyres but whose power came from overhead electric cables down a sprung arm which extended up to the overhead power lines from the roof of the trackie (or trackless). The independently owned convenience store is part of Premier Stores, a 'symbol group' within the Booker Group. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the range of merchandise offered is wide and comprehensive. The store is clean and tidy, even though it is heavily stocked. The store is located on a very busy roundabout between Wath, Mexborough and Rawmarsh and so, thoughtfully, the forecourt has become a marked out car park so that customers can access the shop safely, without the need to cross a busy junction on foot. There's even a Post Box here for the benefit of those of us who are still putting pen to paper and putting a stamp on an envelope!
