Went to a tea party at the home of a friend's mum on this site. Beautiful homes here.

Stayed as part of a group booking last week. We had pre booked over the phone 3 standard pitches no electric for 3 small tents for 1 night.i had arrived before the rest of our group so I went to the site office and paid my share which was £12 for 1 person 1 small tent. The tickets were there written out ready with the prices that were qouted over the phone. I then proceeded to meet the warden to show him my ticket and receipt to prove I'd paid. He showed me to my pitch in the corner of a field, I set my tent up and the warden then came back over telling me I hadn't paid enough and I had to pay them another £15? I'd already shown him my ticket. After arguing for a while I just went to the office and paid It to just shut him up. Be warned they want £27 for 1 small tent in the corner of a field. The qouted price should have been honoured you can't just make it up as you go along. Absolute rip off I won't be returning. Lots of other campsites In the area with prices ranging from £12 to £16 for a small tent for 1 night

We had a 2 night stay here last week. What a delightful place , the warden was such a lovely gentleman very helpful and a character with witty banter. We had a massive field with our friends in there camper van and a few other campers. The toilets and showers were very clean . Highly recommended.  Thank you for a lovely stay

We had a fantastic stay over the Easter weekend.nnThe grounds were well cared for , toilets and showers clean.nnLovely woodland trail into town with guidance given by the friendly warden.nWill definitely be returning.
