Having made a return visit last weekend, I cannot say enough how long overdue this has been! Every time I have stayed at Woodlands, I have received 1st class treatment and such a personal service. Pippa and Hugo are kind, generous and attentive hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Their staff are the same and special thanks to Vicky to looked after us very well for our breakfasts each day. All the very best for the next adventure and we will see you soon. Thank you SO much xx
We have been staying here for years & love it. Owners, Hugo & Pippa, have just downsized & so now only let out 2 rooms. We stayed in the Bay Room with a 4 poster bed. Each room has a DVD player, home-made biscuits; coffee machine & mini fridge with fresh Cornish milk inside plus access to an honesty bar. Very mellow location with just the sound of birdsong outside. Breakfasts are superb with an array of home-made goodies including compotes, granola & banana bread. All that before choosing from a large selection of cooked items. We chose a full Cornish breakfast. Amazing hosts & great place.
Just the most wonderful place to stay. Upon meeting Pippa and Hugo our hosts we were instantly made to feel at home. The room was comfy with the best bed linen I’ve ever slept on. The breakfast had so much choice most of it it homemade right down to the lemon curd and granola and better than any 5 star hotel I’ve stayed in I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful bed and breakfast We will certainly return. Just fantastic.!!!
One of best Bed and Breakfast places I have stayed at. Hugo and Pippa are very friendly warm hosts. Have made this place very cosy and feel like home. The breakfasts are delicious, rooms very cosy, the bathrooms are clean and tidy.
The most fantastic B and B. Award winning breakfasts and fabulously comfortable rooms with all the attentions to detail thought of.
My wife and I had a wonderful weekend at Woodlands in 2013. The rooms are fantastic, the food is amazing and the hospitality was brilliant. A tranquil location with easy access to Padstow and the rest of Cornwall. I highly recommend it.
