I got a parking fine at the store, be very careful as there is a website saying a maximum parking duration of 3 hours, Tesco and Horizon state 90 mins maximum, I stayed for 2 hours 20 mins. Tried to complain and both Tesco's and Horizon Parking not interested, so to me misleading . So I have done the decent thing to let you know on behalf of Tesco and Horizon that does not provide clear signage to advise visitors . @Tesco and Horizon, you don't have to thank me for doing the decent thing to warn your customers......
Great shop with toilet and bathroom if your camping outside it’s very handy ‍
Very useful spot, small and quite tight of course but staff generally very helpful and a surprisingly wide selection of stuff for such a small footprint - great for picking up basics you've run out of. I cannot imagine it would be fun to visit during the high holiday season though.
Large store with more than enough food on shelves to buy. Bit awkward with staff pushing large cages around and stocking up. Apart from that, easy to shop.
This is an Electric Vehicle note for anyone hoping for decent charge in Padstow. Forget it. The only type 2 chargers in town are at Tesco who, for all intents, are useless. The chargers here are 7Kw puny and the store allows only a 1.5hr stay or there is an ANPR £70 fine. Want to charge your car decently? Overnight perhaps? NO WAY. Tesco are a dead end on our journey to zero emissions. They ought to be ashamed.
Great local store with really good selection of food and beach accessories. Very grateful to Kieran who saved the day opening up the summer shed to get some BBQ tongs out for me despite the store being super busy and low on staff. Thanks again and see you soon!
This is my review of the holiday shop outside Padstow Tesco. Assistant said "can't bring your dog in here" Surely when on holiday in hot weather and cannot leave your doggy in the car and can't leave in the holiday cottage surely when no food on display this would be o.k?
On using their toliet they have non touch flush, which was to sensitive and flush on me 4 times whilst sitting on the toilet, not a pleasant experience at all
LAURA is a massive let down for Padstow Tesco Branch you should be ashamed of yourself & given your P45. Thought I'd pop into Tesco on foot as I was catching the bus from Padstow Tesco to Wadebridge on 18.3.22. I put my 2 carrier bags on the bench outside. I put 1 tiny handful of paper tissue in the bin outside I saw someone looking at me through the window close to the till end area. Some very big woman comes out she said what are you doing putting bags full of rubbish in the bin. I told her I wasn't putting bags full of rubbish in the bin but only a small tissue. She told me to put my hand in the bin & remove it then to leave the property. LAURA was aggressive & rude towards me for no reason at all. She walked off whilst I was talking for the reason I asked her what her name was. So I went into shop after her & spoke to the floor manager a very polite lady who was very shocked & understanding. We talked outside I showed her the tissue I put in the bin! Then I saw the same big woman close against the window looking at us talking giving me dirty looks. I put a complaint in against LAURA & passed my details on. I did go into the shop to purchase drinks for the bus ride. She's obviously grumpy whilst working. So what's that all about!!!! What an Attitude. Your only a minion. Some other stuff seem unhappy.
Popped to this tesco to grab a few urgent bits, not much else open in Padstow at 7am so thought how convenient. Needed a pack of cigarettes too only to find the counter was closed. I asked the tesco supervisors / managers two ladies chatting if I could get some.... Told by one that it only opens at 8am and the other was rolling her eyes because I had probably just interrupted their conversation. Very rude and I felt very unwelcome. I thought this was a convinience store. Not so convenient.. I apologise for still being a smoker. Rude!!!
