This is well established coffee shop which I use from time to time. Great coffee and cake this time but they great jacket potato and sandwiches. Very friendly staff who will bring my purchases to my table as I have impaired mobility. Highly recommended.
Great coffee and breakfast at a price that undercuts any chain. Limited menu but what they got is plentiful and tasty. We’re sitting and quietly watching the world go by easing into our Monday morning. Fab.
Breakfast was reasonably priced but precooked and basic. Omlette instead of fried or scrambled egg as aim assuming this is easier to reheat. I burnt my mouth on the volcanic beans in the first bite and took all the skin off the roof of my mouth. How they got them this hot is a scientific mystery. Hugely unpleasant experience to then try and finish my food. Coffee was nice, son's pancakes average but reasonably priced also. Service was quick, efficient but indifferent... they didn't even notice me gasping in pain on the table in front of the counter.
A lovely little cafe on park street with an English charm. Had a good coffee here, and an ok bacon toastie. My friend had one of the premade flatbreads toasted, I'd recommend that instead. The atmosphere is very nice with friendly staff. There's also extra seating upstairs.Food: 3/5
Consistently disappointing. From the acrid tar soup proclaiming to be coffee, to the scantly filled sandwiches. It's a nice place to sit though. If you just want some hot water and a chat with friends, it's perfect. Just in response to an expectedly defensive reply - It matters not if I come to your establishment again. Perhaps it's near my office, perhaps I thought the first time must've been a mistake... I have sadly been proven right in everything I perceived. I didn't mention when the sandwiches were made. I rarely write reviews. The energy behind your response pervades the culture of your cafe. I made a mistake to go back, one I won't repeat. Thanks for the courtesy in replying. Calling someone FOS on your own review channel doesn't vindicate how bad your coffees are or how empty my sandwich was. I would take a picture next time, but I won't be back.
A really nice find. Didn't get to try the coffee but the price is Super affordable. My scones and milkshake was only£4.4 and there were two scones, I was full afterwards. The price of coffee and drinks is the most reasonable I've seen. The interior is quite old fashioned and rustic which is quite charming.
The chef is lucky I didn’t call the police on him after my “full english” turned up. Absolutely shameful.
Nice cafe with upstairs seating it seemed to be niceFood: 3/5
Coffee was gorgeous, nice and creamy. Lovely and welcoming, great service.Food: 5/5
Lovely good priced coffee, helpful smiley staff, but the tables are not cleaned. What has happened to decent hygiene in cafes in the 21st century?
