I had to book our dog in as a Sunday emergency appointment. All the staff were amazing. The vet was very thorough and so kind. Our dog absolutely loved her! and seems to be feeling much better already. Thank you all and we highly recommend you
They saved my dogs eye from a deep and stubborn ulcer and treated a very resistant bacterial eye infection. Knowledgeable specialists who work very efficiently, make plenty of time for you and they go through your options and make the costs clear up front. My dog is an anxious soul and the nurses looked after him really well to make his time comfortable when he was in for operations. Photo of my older guy with his saved left eye!
I’ve only been to this vet twice in emergencies when our regular vet was closed. Both times the staff has been super kind and helpful. Reception is always friendly and the vets are great with our dog. So glad to know Woodcroft is there 24/7 for emergencies.
I am writing to convey my profound disappointment with a recent experience at your establishment. As a dedicated patron of your animal hospital for the past two decades, I have always appreciated the excellent care provided by your veterinary staff.nnHowever, I must express my dismay at the behaviour of a senior receptionist today. Despite the urgent need to schedule an appointment for my extremely ill cat, the receptionist, whose name I have recorded, callously refused to schedule an appointment on the basis that I was not following protocol.nnI have long valued the exemplary service provided by your hospital, but this experience has completely tarnished my perception. It is evident that this particular receptionist’s attitude does not align with the standard of care and empathy I have come to expect from your establishment.nnI trust that you will address this matter with the seriousness it deserves and take appropriate action to ensure that no other pet owner encounters such insensitivity in their time of need.nn[Edit: in response to the reply from the business - I have sent my formal complaint naming the “senior receptionist” to your Founding Director at your Registered Office.]
After seeing my dog so distressed, screaming out in pain, uncontrollably shaking , I decided to go to woodcroft, the first thing they said was it’ll be £300 before we even see you, that’s okay, my dog needs seeing.nChecked his feet, gave him a little prod, even though he was crying out in pain and reacting to touch, stuck a muzzle on him and said there’s nothing else I can do.nCame home, he got worse, rang back, they said we did a neurological test which they didn’t and said nothing more we can do, and no point bringing him in again unless you want to pay another £100 for the sake of it.nnMy dog went into 3 seizures one after the other, and a week spent in our usual vet’s, he is now paralysed, from the waist down.nnI will be putting in an official complaint
