Providing a good review for a bit of balance…I attended an Adoption Celebration Hearing at the combined court today. This is when the judge presents a certificate to a child whose adoption has become official. About fifteen of us were in attendance.nnThe judge spent some time talking to the child and asking who he’d invited to attend the celebration. She told him a bit about why she enjoys doing these hearings. She gave him and his parents an opportunity to say something. He was then presented with a certificate and a stuffed toy - and another stuffed toy was found for his younger brother so he wouldn’t feel left out. The child was then invited to sit in the judge’s chair and we were able to take lots of pictures. We were given plenty of time in the court room and there was a young lady who even helped us get some group pictures.nnIt was a really lovely thing to mark the occasion and everyone I came across from security at the entrance to the judge were all great and very accommodating.
THE PHONE WILL BE RINGING FOR ONE HOUR 35 MINUTES AND NO ONE WILL PICK.nTHEY INTENTIONALLY DON'T PICK CALLS BUT GETTING PAID. IF PHONE IS BUSY WE KNOW BUT WITH THEM, THE PHONE CALL WILL GO THROUGH FOR OURS AND NO ONE WILL PICK IT. PROBABLY ON THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA BECAUSE I STRANGE. YOU SPEND HOURS AND NO ONE WILL PICK THE CALL FROM 12PM TILL 5PM
I haven't been to this court yet, but I'm already able to give them 0 star rating, for 2 reasons mainly:n1. This court has sent me a letter with court venue and date of my court ,great, but they haven't specified the time of the hearing! Yet, they stated that I have to be 30min prior to my hearing... I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS!n2. Trying to call this court many times to clarify the court hearing time, but each time after listening to 2min pre-recorded unnecessary chat, the phone just goes off due to high call volume, doesn't even let me stay on hold, just hangs up!nnThis is the court that will decide my child's future basically.nMy court date is in a weeks time and I dread to think how 'professional' they will deal with my issue.
Beware when you get date of hearing here. This place is racist. They only favour their own race people. The cunning lady owing us money and we gave all proofs and it was clear on hearing that she is lying. Her whole witness statement was a lie. Just because she was of same race , they dismissed the case saying there was no agreement of doing work while work was done with her agreement. And she did not pay.nAll emails and text messages were shown at hearing.
ABSOLUTE DISGRACE.nTHEY KEEP YOU ON BAIL FOR YEARS ON FALSE ALLEGATIONS. CANCEL COURT DATES CONSTANTLY.nHOLE SYSTEM NEEDS CLOSING DOWN ASAP .THEY DONT EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE LOL nYou don't even no if a trial is going ahead until the day before .nAWFUL NEVER MIND ABOUT PEOPLES LIVES THEY ARE PURE EVIL .
