Only ordered the basics of egg fried, chips and curry sauce. Chips were like school dinner chips that had been left on a hot plate for a few hours. Egg fried rice was solid and clumpy full of salt. The curry sauce was like water and bitter full of salt. Rang and person on the end of the phone wasn't interested at all until I said what can you do. Was offered a discount next time but why would I want to go back?. I've come back after a few months and it's just as bad. The food is rubbish. The rice is cardboard but mostly the staff are kids and ignorant. Go to delicious before you go here!!!
Been a while since I last used it and was surprised to see the new box meals they do, good value for money and very tasty .Food: 4/5
Must have a different chef from when we last ordered, style of food very different. Chicken curry looked neon, with very cheap cuts of chicken, curry samosas used to be our favourite, can’t taste any curry, rib sauce terrible and meat over cooked list goes on! Think it’s the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Threw £40 takeaway in the bin and got a KFC. Only positive staff are very friendly
We had high hopes due to recommendations on Facebook, however it did not live up to expectations. Everything over cooked, pre cooked, then cooked again frozen chips, over cooked boiled rice, extremely salty chicken chow mein- overcooked. Nothing was freshly cooked. There was a £5 delivery charge which we had no problem with and we tipped the very polite driver, when going through the receipt we found that a service charge had been added to the bill which we were not aware of, so we spent £7.50 on service charges and the food was inedible. Will not be ordering again. Had to give it 1 star just to post the review.
Best crispy shredded chilli chicken around
Food took 2 hours from ordering online, 1 item was missing and the only option I got was to get it free next time I order. Food did not taste as good as the food from the Layton shop. Food was well over salted and luke warm. Meal was pretty much ruined. Will not be ordering from the Poulton shop again.
Delicious food, thoroughly recommend. Great portion sizes. Bonus that they delivered to us too.Food was piping hot despite having to come to St Michael's to deliver. Thank you, will definitely be ordering again.
I always order from the Layton branch of Wok Wow. Contrary to another review I love the chicken satay. Also a fan of the Crispy Spicy Beef and Salt and Pepper Chicken. People who come to visit me always want to go for the Satay. Someone informed me the Layton branch had issues with a health inspection, but apparently that was over 5 years ago now and I've never had any issues unlike with another couple of Chinese takeaways in the area. The Poulton branch has 5 stars on the food standards agency site.
Absolutely disgusted with Wok Wow, me and my family ordered a special meal for our son after he got an award at school. The food came fast which was our first concern but when we opened up the quarter of duck there was one big bone with barely any meat on it and the beef chomain had barely BEEF in it and any beef that was in it was full of fat and was stringy. Will never be ordering from here again £27 wasted. Big warning never order from here EVER
DO NOT ORDER ANY FOOD FROM HERE. Placed an order, was sent the wrong one. Called back, was told the exact same order would be sent again. The next time was missing items. Called back, was told I should've kept certain items, and that they 'didnt care' DO NOT ORDER ANY FOOD FROM HERE.
