Awful customer service upon complaining about chicken that wasn't edible , not sure if it was over cooked or poor quality meat but I have never eaten chicken so tough, my partner complained over phone and was told too email pictures for the lady cook to then try and tell me the food was cooked perfectly via picture with not even considering inspection will never be ordering from here again due too poor customer service, I understand certain things and mistakes in the kitchen side but we spent nearly £40 and was after a replacement for the spicy chicken not too be patronised over inedible chicken.
I have always ordered from here and it is normally nice. Tonight it was not. It was disgusting the chicken was hard and looked raw inside. When I rang to complain after speaking to three different people the women asked me to email photos. I explained she would be unable to see how hard and vile the chicken is from a photo but she was certain she would. She then phoned me back to explain the chicken was perfectly fine and nothing would be done. The chicken was not and was unedible. Im absolutely disgusted and they don't deserve the one star I have to give to leave a review.
The food is bad. Sauces are horrendously sweet and gloopy. Kung po chicken is more like low quality chicken syrup soup and the salt and pepper chicken may be just salt
Brilliant takeaway! Delivered within time stated. Food was hot and tasty and plenty of it. My crispy beef was crispy and spicy hot, with plenty of rice and my husbands sweet and sour chicken balls were great. Bag of complimentary prawn crackers was a nice touch. Reasonable prices with a nominal £1 delivery charge. I must add that the food did not leave me feeling like I needed to drink a gallon of water afterwards, which sometimes happens with a Chinese dinner. Very happy customer . Would recommend .
Just ordered chicken curry, chips, mixed vegetables and spring rolls. I wanted to say thank you to the chef. The food arrived quickly, piping hot and delicious. Lovely delivery guy. I even received prawn crackers as a bonus. Well done Wok Wow Layton.Food: 5/5
The quality and quantity of the food was very poor it looked like it was rushed cooked don’t think I will be going there again
I have used this Chinese for well over 10 years but was absoulty dredfull AGAIN! I feel physically sick and have thrown my chicken curry and rice in the bin. The rice was under cooked and the curry just tasted of salt which I can't get rid of the awful taste. However the spring rolls were spot on. I didn't bother to call the restaurant as I'd rather not eat here again! Feel so sick
My new favourite Chinese. The salt and chilli box is the absolute best around. So much flavour and variety. Consistently good food, fast pick up times and delivery’s are always early!
