The company should be rightly proud of Jack in the Moortown office, although young, he showed excellent people skills, empathy and level of professionalism way above his age. He took us through what was required in a quiet, patient manner, and once the funeral had been planned went further than his remit by keeping the elderly widow and ourselves in touch with what was going on even to the extent of visiting her alongside the vicar to discuss the church arrangements. He arranged a personal visit by the widow to see her husband in the chapel of rest at the Moortown office. Conducted the funeral in a thoroughly professional manner. we would not hesitate to recommend the funeral directors and especially Jack.

The staff at the Moortown office were lovely. They helped me in all the planning. Jack was so very kind and helpful, a lovely young man wise beyond his years. David was with us on the day to make sure everything went to plan from passing the fire station making sure the music was as we wished to even recommending the excellent celebrant. They were wonderful and looked after us and my late husband very well indeed.

A funeral is never a purchase anyone wants to make! However when in the sad situation that you need too choosing a firm that offers service support and humility all make a massive difference. Dodgson & Son were without doubt the best we could have hoped for. Jack Kelly from the moment of contact offered sound advice with a manner that was not only proffessional and respectful but supportive calming and friendly. He listened to understand our needs guided where needed and took away the uncertainty by assuring us he would take care of arrangements which he delivered on over and above any expectations. Most importantly Jack throughout refered to my Dad in the first person with respect dignity and assured he was in safe hands and would have the best attention throughout...this was of great comfort and took a funeral service to another level of kindness. We were kept up to date with all arrangements Jack simply made things happen around us. At every step leading up to the funeral we were met with compassion and empathy nothing was too much trouble in fact seen as an honour that we had chosen this firm and indeed Jack himself to help us. We were encouraged any time to call with questions or concerns Jack was there for us. On the day of the funeral itself as a greiving family we were guided with great respect throughout and had full faith that everything went to plan. I cannot convey what a difference your choice of funeral directors will make at such a difficult time. Above and beyond this is the very best choice and could not recommend highly enough. Thank you to all at the Moortown branch and a massive thanks and appreciation for Jack to you it isnt a job its a calling and as a family we recognise just how special that is and will be eternally grateful for all that you did.....thank you!

I would highly recommend Dodgsons for this service because they are outstanding in their support, advice and compassion. I never felt any of my questions were too much trouble and they always went above and beyond to help. A special thank you to Jack who continues his support a year on after our loss. Thank you.

I was recommended to use Dodgsons by a family friend when my father passed away. Jack at the Moortown office talked me through the process and was professional and empathetic throughout the process explaining all the various options. In the end plans had to be changed as my mother died before the funeral took place. Again Jack rode to the rescue changing plans so my parents could pass on together. The whole day went without a problem with Jack orchestrating the whole thing. It seems strange to be recommending a funeral director but I would wholeheartedly recommend Dodgesons as a company and Jack in particular.
