We could not have wished for more sensitive and considerate support. Jonathan's professionalism and experience guided us seamlessly through all the decisions that had to be made in the sad circumstances of my sister's death. And the versatile range of services that he was able to offer removed much of the stress that might have lain in wait. We are so grateful for the patience that Jonathan demonstrated in his dealings with us, the responsiveness that he showed to our wishes, and the assistance that seemed to ignore all constraints of time and date. The funeral service and burial were a great comfort to us, and will provide us with many positive memories to put alongside the sadness of our loss. Jonathan took care of my father's funeral with total professionalism, care and compassion for me and my mum. He made the whole process so easy and also recommended a local florist and venue for the funeral reception. The funeral itself was conducted with the utmost respect to my dad's memory with Jonathan taking on the Celebrant role. This meant we only had one person to deal with at such a difficult time, but it also meant that he performed the service in a truly personal way. We would highly recommend Joseph C Roberts services.
I have no hesitation in recommending Jonathan who is a first class funeral director. He came to our families need when we could not get in touch with other funeral directors. He treat my father with dignity and respect and I do not know what we would have done without him. He is extremely professional and his attention to detail is second to none. He even arranged to have my fathers ashes scattered at a different crematorium so he could be with my mum. Having to make funeral arrangements will always be daunting; this was my first and Jonathan and his team were magnificent. I have no hesitation in recommending them and would most definitely use them again if needed. They guided mum and me through the difficult days following my Dad's death with professionalism and dignity. They were responsive, helpful, warm and reassuring. The funeral itself, conducted by Jonathan, was everything we could have hoped for and I cannot thank him enough for supporting us during this time.
Joseph c roberts did my dad's funeral yesterday and all I can say is wow. From start to finish my experience with Jonathan was extremely professional and personal . Nothing was to much and I'm so glad I found this company. There is nothing better than a family run business in these circumstances. Jonathan went above and beyond for us even visiting my dad in the Chapel of rest a few times one at 8 pm at night. on one of these occasions . He came to our house to plan everything out staying 2.5 hours making sure everything was perfect He mapped out everything perfectly even checking on traffic and roadworks so all timings would be perfect. His team on the day were fantastic. We opted for a horse drawn hearse with colours of our choice . Jonathan is a traditional funeral director who walked in front of the horses and payed his respects everytime he got on and off of the carriage. He even picked up the flowers from my mother's house the night before the funeral so we didn't have to worry about a thing. We wanted everything perfect as does everyone else and we were not disappointed. I got a feeling when I first spoke to Jonathan that he truly loves what he does and puts family's at ease and had compassion . a feeling I didn't get with a other company I had spoken to his pricing is unbeatable for the services he does I will not be using any other company for a funeral in the future although I hope it will be along time before needing his services again . Thank you Jonathan and team for a perfect send off for my dad.
When one of your loved ones dies and you are faced with the prospect of having to arrange their funeral, you need all the help and assistance you can to help you through the process. Jonathan was everything you would ask for, and more. Kind, considerate, understanding, helpful every step of the way. We wanted a good independent funeral director, not a national, and Jonathan was exactly that. I would highly recommend.
My father died in April this year and Jonathan Robinson made the whole funeral process very personal as well as professional. My 90yr old mother was treated with utmost respect and Jonathan made sure that all our requirements we met. He brought my father's wedding ring to my mother in person..and presented it in a lovely ring box.. which made it even more special. This kind of detail means I have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone needing a comforting presence in a time of great sadness.
The kindness, professionalism and empathy of Jonathan and staff at Joseph C Roberts Funeral Directors offered to my family at an emotional and venerable time was without exception, excellent especially given that Jonathan had to arrange everything at such short notice. Their care and attention to detail helped to make a very difficult time more manageable and certainly put our minds at rest at every stage of the process. From the outset of our Bereavement journey Johnathan Roberts enabled us as a whole family to move seamlessly from one decision to the next during the time when we lost my father this April. 2018. His kindness and generosity of meeting our needs especially on the day was second to none. This was all the more important to our family as many of us had to travel great distances. We have , therefore, no hesitation in recommending his Funeral Service to anyone wishing to experiencing the same.
After losing a very dear friend suddenly to cancer in December 2017 I used Joseph C Roberts for the funeral arrangements and let me tell you Jonathan couldn't have done any more to help. For someone who had never dealt with death and funeral arrangement before he gave me all the information and advice in a timely and sensitive manner, he was always available when I needed to speak to him and certainly went the extra mile. It was a lovely cremation and it was down to Jonathan that the day went so well. I would highly recommend them.
