Review of Service at WJ KING SEAT BROMLEYfor SEAT Arona – Oil Change IssuennLast week on Tuesday, I took my SEAT Arona to this  local dealer for an oil change. I collected the vehicle on Wednesday and parked it at my residence until Sunday. Upon driving the car on Sunday, I immediately noticed an unusual noise coming from the engine. Concerned, I pulled over to inspect the vehicle and discovered that it was leaking oil from under the engine.nnAt that moment, I was with my wife and 3-year-old daughter, which made the situation even more alarming. This careless oversight by the mechanic not only compromised the condition of my car but also put my family’s safety at risk. When I removed the oil cap above the engine I could see inside the aluminium foil from the  oil bottle, THAT SHOULD NOT be in there, another negligence from the mechanic.nnI contacted SEAT immediately and spoke with Jasmine Farron, who handled the issue professionally  thank you so much.nWithin two hours, a recovery vehicle was sent, and my car was taken back to the service center for repairs. While I appreciate the prompt action taken by Jasmine, the fact remains that this incident should never have happened in the first place. After the repair was done  they drive my car back to my address adding miles to my vehicle and using my fuel, that was wrong , is not my fault for the mechanic mistake.nnI expect any professional mechanic to conduct basic checks after servicing a vehicle to ensure no issues are left unresolved. This mechanic’s failure to properly secure the oil change could have led to much more serious consequences. I urge others to be cautious when choosing this service center, as such negligence is unacceptable.

I wish to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at Bromley SEAT regarding my car, which I brought to your dealership on December 6th, 2023. The reason for my visit was due to unusual noises emanating from the gearbox.nnUpon inspection, your team assured me that the noises were normal, but I was informed of a minor oil leak that could be repaired in January, with a charge since my car was allegedly out of warranty. Following this advice, I sought assistance from an independent DSG specialist garage.nnTo my dismay, I later discovered that my car was still under warranty with SEAT. Frustrated and stressed, I returned to your dealership to rectify the situation, only to be told that nothing could be done since my car had been taken to an independent garage. This response is not only disappointing but also contradicts the information provided by your team.nnI believe it is the responsibility of your staff to accurately communicate warranty status, and I feel misled and deceived by the misinformation I received. Now, I am facing a substantial £4140 repair bill for an issue that should have been covered under warranty.nnEnclosed herewith are images depicting the gearbox, which, according to the assessment, exhibited signs of a minor oil leak.

The service and diagnostics team Graham / George fixed an issue with front wheel tracking on my Astra that two prior garages were unable to resolve. It's a great relief. Thanks.
