I have had the good fortune of knowing Josh for some years now and his character traits of integrity and creative flair are in full flow at Wizard Pi. The team he has assembled around him are fantastic with special mentions to Alex and Lauren whom I have had the pleasure of working closely with. Absolutely incredible work from Wizard PI!! Service from start to finish has been amazing, Freya’s work to allow me to understand what Wizard PI offer and why it’s vital, James’ support surrounding SEO and a strategy that will work for my company, Alex has designed a website that encapsulates our brand so well and people are already loving what it looks like, Jordon has taken and captured so awesome imagery to make our brand stand out and give it a personal touch and Josh has always be there for any questions I have and his team are able to create websites that make you go WOW!
Be cautious about the 5* reviews this is simply not a reflection of our experience with Wizard Pi.nWe started working with Wizard Pi at the end of 2023. From the start it was a challenging process. After briefing Josh and Freya about what we wanted from our new website, this was not briefed into the designer that was carrying out the work. Essentially the designer then created an exact replica of our existing website in terms of content. The whole point of engaging them was to create a new website that merged together two very distinct and new aspects of how we were repositioning our business. This then required a huge amount of my time retrospectively to then get the new site to a standard and with the content we wanted.nnThere was no cohesive running of a client account and I’d query if requests that were going into Josh were ever being filtered out to the relevant member of the team. No account management and summary for clients about what the different part of the business may or may not be doing. Just radio silence.nnAt all stages through our time with Wizard Pi, Josh was good at phoning and telling me to just trust them, over promising on what would be delivered and then passing blame back to me when thing as were not as requested, in a patriarchal and condescending manner.nnThe biggest issue for us however was the total lack of transparency around the payments ongoing for SEO. We were paying a monthly fee of £405.00 for SEO services ad infinitum.nnBecause of everything highlighted above I wanted clarity on what we were getting for this service, details like a minimum service level agreement and to understand month by month what time would be left for other tasks. When I repeatedly asked for details of what we were getting for this service, to know what time we had access to as part of this package to use on other things like photoshoots, blogs, and site development this was not forth coming. When I insisted on this, Josh said he no longer wanted to work with us as we were not just trusting them!nTrust and integrity was something that got banded around a lot in his conversations, for us trust is something that is earned over time. We felt that all we really wanted was to understand that we were getting value for money.nnWe did not get the much promised SEO strategy meeting, the photoshoots and wider support after 6 months.nI’m not sure if they are overstretched too in terms of capacity and ability but they are definitely rinsing clients with the SEO monthly payments.nThe true cost of your website with Wizard Pi needs to factor all the ongoing monthly payment costs in ....
I recently attended a digital marketing Masterclass hosted by Wizard Pi. The day was incredibly informative from start to finish outlining the basics in SEO and social media marketing. The entire day was run by members of the Wizard Pi team who were extremely knowledgeable in their individual fields and were fantastic at outlining the digital techniques to help develop our understanding and knowledge within these areas.nI would highly recommend anyone who runs their own business and looks after their own website and socials to sign up to future masterclasses to be able to develop their own skills as well as learn free useful techniques to help grown their businesses presence online.nI would also highly recommend Wizard Pi and the services that they offer to anyone looking for help with their digital marketing management as the team are all highly skilled and extremely experienced in the work that they do and are consistently demonstrating fantastic results for their client’s time and time again.
