There are well trodden paths as well as some made paths with the paved ones to one side looking over to the riverside town of Wivenhoe, to the front of the university looking out to the river and the Hythe area. Lovely view from our room with balcony.
My Wife took me and kids here for afternoon tea. Great food and more than we could eat but they let us take the leftovers home. The staff were very friendly and attentive too. Very enjoyable!
A beautiful lake with natural view
Lovely open space to walk round. Lots of different trees to see and the lake always has birds on and around it. Peaceful and relaxing, easy to access and parking at University.
