I like this pub, far larger than it appears at the entrance, all the sports are on, has a quiz night & there's a bit of a disco most nights. Not expensive either. Cool boozer.
This pub appears to have changed it's name to the Victoria. Say what you see. Fairly busy at the time of our visit. No traditional beers just keg. Reasonably cheap compared to other pub's locally. I do have an issue with having camera's in the loo's. I know the issues about drugs etc.
Great little pub, very cheap drinks, i suspect on a par with witherspoons but without the wealthy owner taking advantage of his staff. Bonus stars for allowing vaping and being open so late. Brilliant staff. I'm lucky enough to spend a lot of time in Paignton and this and ye old well house will be regular haunts for me.
Had a face-lift ? Still worst pub in Paignton. Don't bother horrible place.
Alright for a quiet pint. It hat loads of regulars both times ibve been there. A nice sense of community.
This is very much a drinking pub. I probably wouldn't recommend taking the family in here... I'm not saying it's bad but it's just if you're on holiday looking for a nice relaxing few drinks and something to occupy the little ones for an hour or so then you might be better off going down the seafront..
Clean toilets , reasonable drinks. Carpet was a bit horrible but they are improving things . Nice staff
The Queen Victoria as its now called after its revamp is just as good as it always was, just a bit fresher and better now.
Cameron D is a deep fried Mars bar, pass it on
