We had a lovely meal. The starters were cook great. Because we were very early in the evening we only ordered each course after the end of the preceding one. Glad we did because on occasions the staff were a little too attentive. The food was of good quality. If not more on the expensive side.
Rude Owner and Poor Quality Food If you are thinking about going here, please don't waste your time or money.... you are better off going to Iceland and buying frozen ready meals. I went here last night with my girlfriend for a not so nice romantic meal. The owner of the restaurant is shockingly rude! I thought it was just me although once I read various reviews on trip advisor many have experienced the same appalling service. I asked the owner to explain what a dish was on the menu and instead of doing so he insulted me and started shouting, to quote "I don't know how you Indians make your food" I could't believe the words coming out of his mouth....really bad customer service. Mr. owner if you are reading this... a tip for you, don't start clearing up and moving tables and chairs while your guests are eating there main meal. Really bad food! poor quality and really shouldn't been served on any table: -The steamed dumplings was over cooked and therefore became a deconstructed dumpling as per photo. Also when served by Mr. Owner he complained about having to make the dish as it takes 30mins... - The sweet & sour chicken was more like a cheap battered fish, very oily and not visibly appetising as per photo. The only thing good about this restaurant was the old Piano player, sweet guy... I hope he doesn't get shouted by the Owner too!
Went for a group visit for a birthday. My husband is vegetarian and they were brilliant! The food was great. A little slow between courses but considering how many people they had in, did an amazing job! Will definitely go again!
We visited this restaurant after reading some google reviews, they had 4.5 stars so I assumed the restaurant was very good. We arrived with family for Fathers day. We were not very happy with the quality of the food, all seemed very dry and flavorless. I would usually have complained but we were frightened too due to witnessing a poor couple get shouted at for not liking the food. It was very embarrassing for everyone and we were shocked that the owners would treat customers like this. Lets just say we will NOT be going back.
Had a dinner for two and I have to say I was disappointed. The food was okay but there were no hotplates to keep the dishes warm which meant the food got cold. Got the feeling they want to get you out as soon as possible as they too away the first course plates away moments after finishing my meal. It was a quiet night so there was no need for that. Bowl of rice £5.50, not large, which was not good value especially as it got cool quickly. Would not visit again.
Fantastic food. Great service. We went on Tuesday, so not a lot of people there but we got great food and service. The staff were very pleasant and polite. Will go there again and again!!!
We had a lovely time, took our 4 year old son. The greeting was really nice. We hadn't reserved a table but they fitted us in. It did get very busy, which was a good thing. The food was brilliant, we are fussy so couldn't believe how good it was. Thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Even had dessert. We will definitely recommend Wings!
Ordered take away and picked it up 15 mins later. The staff were extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. Ordered the Shanghai surprise and beef & aubergines. Absolutely delicious. Nicest Chinese food I've had in a very long time. Would recommend and will come back again.
We had a lovely meal out here, the restaurant is smart and the food is great and you get plenty of it too. As it's family run the place has a homely feel and the service is super. As an added bonus if you like a deal if you sign up to their mailing list and you'll be sent decent offers you can use straight away.
We had a lovely evening at Wings restuarant at the weekend being in a group of six. We have never been to a Wings Christmas Party before which included a complimentary disco after our meal which all added to the party atmosphere. The food was great and given how busy the restuarant was the staff were efficient and very attentive.
