Great caravan site. The on site club, look out for the static caravan owners queueing up for the seats in the main room. They're outside a good 2 hours before it opens just to get their regular seats. It's like going back to a working mens club in the 70s, God help you if are in THEIR seats. You can imagine them saying in a broad Lancashire accent "257 years thaz bin comin ear an 257 years thaz alazz sat theer. "

Just returned after 3 nights stay with our grandchildren...cannot praise them enough for all the effort the staff went to for Halloween entertainment.Even the shops and reception were fantastically decorated.The campsite was immaculate and the toilets on goldfinch were the best I have ever seen on a caravan site. Also praise reception and maintenance staff who were very helpful when we had to stay an extra 3hrs as we had a problem with caravan on the day of our departure.We have been to windy harbour on previous occasions and will certainly make regular visits to the site.

Great site. Everywhere lovely and clean. Pleasant friendly staff. Great chippy.

Kids loved it but dont want to go back as the brill entertainment was dissmised so dont think we will get same experience again
