The staff here are absolutely amazing. My dad loved being here and really settled. Everyone was so professional and compassionate whilst dealing with my dad. He liked all the staff and was a different person from the one we had at home.He lived being with like minded people. Unfortunately he got poorly and never returned from hospital. Definitely couldnt fault the care he received here.
Today was my Mom's birthday....they were brilliant!! She's Catholic and Matthew - who is on charge of Activities for Windsor House, whokindly took her to Church and then attended a meal with her church friends. He then threw a May Day themed party and even joined in a Maypole dance with her!! A cake bought in by staff. They went above and beyond for her....she had an amazing day! I can't say thank you enough!! Just amazing!
My dad moved into Windsor House earlier this year, it was a very tough decision, but my dad has settled in so well, we are amazed.nThe staff are just fantastic, and bring a tear to my eye every time we visit, as their genuine care and love for my dad is so evident, and he loves them back.nI never thought I could put my dad into a care home, but Windsor House might not be the Ritz, but my dad is so happy there - that's all that matters. Thank you to your wonderful staff - we appreciate and admire you every day xx
My mum has been in here for over 2 years now. It was a hard adjustment for us as a family, and yes there were teething problems in the early days. However, we are Very happy with how mum is being looked after now.nWe are more than happy with how they have handled the Covid situation 100% covid free! I'd say that's pretty Amazing, And there are ongoing regular checks.nWe have had regular updates regarding mum face time, postcards. The residents look like they've been kept busy with lots of entertainment. We've been able to see this on The Facebook page. I would recommend Windsor House to anyone looking for some where carewise.nnDebbie
My mum moved into Windsor House in March, it was the beginning of Covid-19, she had been shall we say “awkward “ in previous care, but immediately on arriving at Windsor she was a different person. The care mum receives is fantastic, there is always something happening to stimulate the patient’s, we can speak on the phone to her and also get great photos on Facebook of the activities. Praise to all the carers and staff for all the hard work and caring they give. I would highly recommend this wonderful carehome, Thank you all.
