Visited this pub today after hearing many good things about the food. Can't say we were disappointed. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. The drinks were also good value and the staff very friendly. Free car park on site just across the road from the sea with great view points. Outside seating too which is perfect in the hour weather. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Canvey Island area

A friendly welcoming pub, great atmosphere and lovely people. If you are looking for honest down to earth people, and to enjoy a drink with good conversation, this is the place to be.

Food is really the best value for money on Canvey Island and cheapest drinks

Very much a old estate pub didn't take card . At least they had a ale on, was very quite on our visit . Plenty of outside seating so that was handy when visiting with a dog  .
