My daughter ordered food via just eat that cost her £47 with del charge..however when the food arrived it was clearly over cooked in old oil!, you could taste it.. I called the establishment to complain and told them I’d be returning the food and wish to have it replaced/cooked fresh, 15 mins later I arrived and returned the ‘old’ food in replace for the fresh. All in all the food was replaced with no problem and was definitely better then previous, the chips and batter balls were better but still tasted of old oil alittle was not over cooked this time though. If they just cared more about how the food went out and didn’t over cook items and changed their oils regularly then this place would soon see more trade and return to the banging place it used it to be. But thankyou to the girl on the phone who happily exchanged our food- props to her
This chinese is up there with the worst I have ever had. Chips cooked 7 days a go and heated back up. Curry scooped out of the canal. And uncle Ben will be turning in his grave with the standard of the rice. The spring rolls had no spring in them. The salt and pepper chicken reminded me of batter bits from the chippy. All said and done at least I have 2 containers to use for my dinners. Thanks for wrecking my weekend. I reccomend setting up near Winson Green prison, as there food needs competition.
Terrible terrible food. Salt and pepper chips were soggy. House special chow mein consisted of 2 king prawns and 2 pieces of pork, no variety.Everything was bland no flavour.. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Ordered takeaway from here, no sign of food, some rubbish excuse every time I called them.. Driver on his way... On his way to where? Timbucktoo??? Coz over an hour & food still not here. Order cancelled. Driver now has a nice takeaway to tuck in to, hope its cold, if it was ever sent out in the first place.
Firstly, We were told 40 minutes until it could be delivered & it took 1 hour. The salt & pepper chicken wings were greasy, dried up with little meat on them. The House Special chow mein almost all pork meat instead of a variety as stated on menu, the 2 prawns that were in it were dried up, rubbery shrimps & the noodles were tasteless. Complete waste of £25.10 PLEASE DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS WE DID
The most Awful food I’ve tasted it all went in the bin and cost me £15.60 greasy rice awful ribs would never order from them again oh and cold
Worst meal I've ever tried from a Chinese restaurant spent £19 tonight prawn crackers were stale beef and mushroom curry was watery and the chips were disgusting well done willow House wong be using you again
The service is quite rude and feels like you are putting them out by placing and collecting an order. The food was from very bland to extremely salty, overcooked to the point of being mushy and runny. To top it off I found a large piece of jagged plastic in my mushroom curry. Total waste of money as it went in the bin. We certainly will never order from here again. My advice is go elsewhere.
Ask for a salt and pepper box and get no salt and pepper seasoning on anything. Staff refuse to collect food, they won't refund or anything else just laughing at us when we ask for a refund. All food disgusting, stay clear!
Use wongs up the road , it's closed on a Monday so used these , but have used these don't know what to say or start , salt and pepper chips no condiments just chips £3.80 , ordered a value dish 6.20 in a tray hardly no meat paid all that for rice, used to be good 5 years ago no stale , watch them change the signs soon or say new owners , horrible
