We had lovely lemon cake and a huge cream and jam scone. Coffee and tea were nice. Service was lovely. Cafe is bright and airy. Can recommend the sweet treats here. Lots of people but very spaced out and feels safe. 20% off for NHS workers here which is very generous.
Got a fruit scone aparently homebaked and latte. Scone looked bisually nice but taste was bland and stale and not very nice…. Dissapointed as not cheap either
This cost me £5.40, what a rip off!! I had one cherry tomato with the salad and one slice of cucumber. Not value for money at all. I'll stick to just a coffee from now on.
I went in at lunch time today. I ordered a jacket and a can of lemonade. £7!! It came out well presented but straight away I seen the coleslaw you could tell it was cheap. I tasted it firstly it was the worst coleslaw I've tasted in my life it tasted like plastic!! I don't understand why a cafe would buy it in as it costs the same to make. My jacket potato was not nice all you could taste was margerine you could tell that real butter was not used. No taste to the beans cheap watery ones and the cheese was that cheap already grated stuff. Staff were lovely it's a shame they have to work somewhere with the food being so poor. I seen someone get pie and mash it looked like school dinners. There's that much competition about now I really think you need to up your game. On the food part. I had literally four mouthfuls and left the rest complete waste of money.
Went yesterday and the toilets were dirty toilet paper all over the floor and hand dryer wasn't working orderd a hot chocolate and just tasted like milk hardly any chocolate in it wouldn't go back again
Usually have no problems here but, today I ordered a large latte and a bacon bun. The poor girl on the counter was struggling to serve everyone quickly and was on her own. When I ordered she said it would have to be on bread, not a bun. She then went into the kitchen and came straight back out with the bacon sandwich. I had to search for a table as most were covered in dirty pots. The sandwich was stone cold and had obviously been stood a while.
The place looks ok, actually pretty spacious and well-decorated. Staff not bad. I only have the coffee, which is, again, ok and relatively cheap. I don't know about the food as I've never tried it.
Food took ages to arrive. When it did. It tasted like a cheap frozen quiche warmed up. Not recommend
We had a very delicious breakfast there and will be back
Used to be alright here but today the milky coffee and hot chocolate was disgusting! They did offer another hot chocolate but tasted like it had been sweetened. Won't be returning
