Not sure we'll return. Think it was the instant coffee provided with the breakfast but also the lack of option adding items. Would've enjoyed a hash brown but only a fixed menu available when we visited. No porridge also but not a bad meal.Food: 4/5
A traditional style cafe with a river terrace out the back - I think it used to be a watermill. Watch the river flow under you while you have an all day breakfast - veggie or meat available. We thought about having rarebit - they looked very good on a neighbouring table. Dogs welcomed as you would expect in this area, you can head over to the Hawkshead brewery for a pint afterwards.
Needed breakfast after playing a gig in nearby Fell Foot Wood. Found this place on google maps. Made me the hero. Top quality ingredients. Very tasty. Busy wee spot.
Great spot for a bite and a coffee, rapid service with a smile, good seating options inside and out and reasonably priced. Dog friendly with bowls and biscuits also.
Wow! The very best breakfast in a long time! Greatly recommend this establishment, tucked away around the back of Back Lane. Great food, great welcome, great space!Food: 5/5
Really enjoyed our visit, and warm welcome and helpful staff. Had the Small Meaty breakfast which was perfect and comes with a cafetière of coffee included. Husband had the full all day English which also didn’t disappoint, great portion sizes. Doggies welcome and also received treats.
When travelling to the Lakes we always stop here for breakfast. Excellent food, service and ambiance. Some very good walking around Staveley as well.Food: 5/5
Excellent breakfast. I had the small and it came with a pot of tea. 6 quid. Great value.
Recommended by our campsite and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely waterside views, proper honest food and a great place for a post-cycle snack!
Called in by chance and will definitely return. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and possibly the nicest breakfast butty I've ever had! Thanks.Food: 5/5
