Lovely, very tasty, perfectly cooked food. Amazing selection of gins some from local producers, friendly, polite staff. Stunning setting, spotlessly clean . Highly recommended and we can’t wait to go back and try some more of the menu and the Gins

Wonderful evening family meal Saturday night, everyone cleared their plates. The decorations were fabulous it was very cosy and warm. And the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.
Very nice pub, excellent Sunday roast. Good views across the river to Plymouth. Staff were attentive and quick. Beef brisket cooked perfectly.

Not been for a while, and went for the Halloween quiz with husband and friends. The new menu with some old favourites is spot on, the chicken and bacon pie is so good and not salty at all. Liver and bacon great as always with a new addition of bubble and squeak. Thai green curry was lovely. Can’t wait to come back and try more new items and some favourites. Keep up the great work.
Beautiful setting to enjoy a lovely meal with friends. Such a beauty spot and the room was just wonderful, comfy and what a view!! So many Gins to choose from, menu Fabulous! Staff very welcoming. Excellent place to stay
We have been promising ourselves a visit for ages but unfortunately not a good experience and left after 1 drink we arrived early as we like to relax before our meal on ordering our drinks we were asked if we would like to order before we had a chance to look at the menu we informed them that we would like 15 minutes to look at the menu and enjoy our aperitif within the 15 minutes we were asked 3 times more about ordering which is not relaxing then to cap it all the staff decided to get extra chairs for the 2 seater table to accommodate a family with children playing loud video games so we left as was not conducive to a nice relaxing meal
Lovely place lovely staff pretty area. Very clean and bright inside. Food was delicious and reasonably priced
What a great place! A stunning location, great menu choices and absolutely superb service - we had a table for 21 including 9 children and all the team were very accommodating and helpful. Great stuff Service: 5/5
