Stayed for 3 nights as we had a wedding nearby. Evening meal OK but a little over priced. Landlady and Staff All great, helpful and friendly. Great room and Great Breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Lovely log fire in the Evening.
Had a pause on the bus going back to Plymouth, so the driver recommended we go across to the Pub/Restaurant to get ourselves a hot drink. We did and purchased a pot of tea for two, for less than £4. Nice place, warm and very helpful service from staff. Apparently has a very good reputation for quality food served here. Will definitely visit again.
Went with my other half as a birthday meal, the waiter was lovely and was very approachable! He could crack a joke with us too and that was so appreciated. Can't wait to go back, the food was proper banging. Overall, no complaints!Rooms: 5/5
Lovely warm welcome. Stopped for a coffee and pint. Wished we'd stayed for lunch as looked so good. Beautiful scenery outside and dog friendly Service: 5/5
A lovely old pub. Only stayed for one drink but is a beautiful position for summer boat trip and beer. Warmed ourselves up after a trip to the house.Service: 5/5
We were not staying at tbe Edgcumbe Arms but had dinner there one evening. The pub is right next to the Cremyll ferry and overlooks the water with bench seating/tables outside. It's right at the end of the road and, although there is a bus stop and the ferry right outside it's nice and peaceful. The pub itself is an old building with the entrance down a couple of steps. It's nice inside with lots of wood and a good atmosphere. The staff ate excellent. Friendly, helpful and have a sense of humour. The ales are limited to St. Austell brewery beers but there are lagers and ciders also available. The food was good I had steak pie and mash with peas and certainly plentiful! I"d had mackerel pate to start and couldn't finish all my mash and had no room for desert!. We'll definitely be back and I recommend it if you are in ghe area.
Had previously had the carvery here and it was great. Disappointed to visit at the weekend, undercooked veg and pork and overcooked Yorkshire pud. Staff were great and acknowledged it was not up to standard and refunded the meals. Hopefully just a one off bad day.
Just had impromptu sandwich here with our over excited puppy. The food was good and also prompt but the welcome was even better they were really lovely Service: 5/5
Went for carvery was 2 courses for 19 pound pretty reasonable. Great staff! Shame about the quality of the carvery overboiled veg, overcooked Yorkshire pudds.
We had a lovely meal here. Great service very friendly. Stunning views. Definitely go again. Walkability: Stunning place for walking
