A nice place to walk and breathe in some fresh air but unfortunately there's no toilets here. Good for dog walking or just a brisk walk. There's plenty parking spaces. A small cafe on toilets would be great here. Some great views of the river and the two Bridges that cross the Mersey.

Reduced in scale due to the bridge construction but it has been the best place to view it from. Large free carpark and plenty of bins so good for dog walking. Some bird hides/benches and little put of the way trails for kids to enjoy. Usually ducks or swans on the disused canal section at the top so bring food if you like that sort of thing.

Meh. It has so much potential but lacks so much. It's worth a visit especially if you have a dog or want to go for a run. Work should be done to make access to Moore nature reserve a lot more enjoyable. Some TLC from would easily move this up to a 4 star eating :)

Great place to walk the dog. Also my little ones fave place to ride his bike while he is learning!

Relatively quiet part of Runcorn with good views across the Mersey. If you're lucky to be there at the right time you may catch the tidal bore which is the second largest in Britain. The high tide coming in is channelled through the narrowing river banks giving rise to this phenomenon.
