First time visiting this park. It has scenic views over the River Mersey overlooking Merseyside.nLovely walks around the park. It has a cafe, playground and a small boating lake.nIdeal place for a refreshing walk.
Park with cafe and model boating lake. Great for kids of all ages. There are tennis courts and lots of playing fields. The woods through Runcorn Hill are great for exploring and the whole area feels very safe.nThere are a number of well sign posted running trails of different lengths.nThe play area has lots of variety and a fenced area for younger kids.nThere's lots of free parking available.
We met up with our son and daughter-in-law and our grandson. We went over to the park and enjoyed playing with our grandson. The park is well set out with plenty of things to do. Our grandson went on practically everything, and loved the swings and slide and climbing frame. But, I think he had more fun running up a hill and rolling down it again. Passed an hour watching him have fun.
Such a beautiful place whether taking kids for the park and to feed the ducks. Or to gonfor a walk intonthe woods. Everywhere was clean, tidy and looked after. Lots for the kids to play on. Esposito's is a lovely little cafe with very reasonable prices which was a godsend where everything else is so expensive. Staff are lovely and their iced coffee is lovely.
Fantastic place for all ages. Different play parks for different ages all near each other, tennis courts, bowling green, football pitch, rugby field, cafe with seating area, pond and ducks, woodland walk and cliff with amazing views!
