this collage is the worst i got kicked out because they was talking about my mum who recently left they never help you during lessons and they love to backchat and talk bad about kids my teacher jack parr made fun of an autistic African boy who couldn’t understand English he would sit there and tell him speak english or get out and even sign everything and even shouted to ‘make sure he could hear’ he also made my mate have a panic attack cuz he was stressing at her at the fact she didnt know how to use CAD. They always take your phone after saying you can listen to music they expect you to know everything and do everything with no mistakes and they will stress at you if you get anything wrong they will make fun of the lgbtq if your apart of it they set tasks that you have to finish within THAT WEEK even if you are busy at home or dont have a computer if you misbehave once they will make sure to target you constantly if you are even 10 mins late they will give you a warning. They tell you, you can go in the other campuses but when you actually go they will shout at you and give you a warning the food is so dry and flavor less i had to spend a tenner almost everyday for some food they dont care if you’re struggling only when youre on the verge of leaving the collage full stop i studied mechanical engineering which is a course i didnt wna do and i told them that at the start of a year and 4 weeks in they said i couldnt change cuz my attendance even tho i told them many times i didnt choose this corse and i cant do a corse that dosent entertain me nor make me excited i would give this a 0 star if i could
This college is a danger to its students.nnLike other comments I experienced students and staff acting like bullies. But there’s no point reporting any of it! Because the staff will go out of their way to make your experience 10x worse.nnThey think nobody can see through their passively aggressive act which would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic. Worst part is in the same breath as calling you a liar they’ll assure you that they are the best and never do anything wrong nnThe message becomes loud and clear “Shut up, you’re the problem and we are perfect”
If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. My experience at this college, particularly within the PGCE department, has been profoundly disappointing and distressing. The environment is toxic and extremely unsupportive. Rather than helping students grow and succeed, some staff members engage in bullying behavior and seem to look for reasons to fail students. Worryingly, students from ethnic minority backgrounds are treated unfairly, with discriminatory or threatening behavior being ignored or dismissed. There is a serious lack of accountability, and raising concerns often leads to rude or defensive responses from higher authorities, rather than support or resolution. This institution seems more focused on taking people’s hard-earned money than providing a quality education. Refunds are refused, even in cases of mistreatment, and there appears to be little regard for professionalism, fairness, or student wellbeing. The culture within the PGCE department is especially toxic—unsafe, unsupportive, and unfit for anyone expecting an inclusive or constructive learning experience. I strongly urge prospective students to think very carefully before enrolling here.
Poor leadership poor communication. Event days are held at the most stupid times ie 530 pm. Who wants to drive or get public transport at peak time. Nothing they do is thought out. Maths tutor has changed 6 times in 9 months . Whoever runs this college should be embarrassed. They couldn't run a raffle. Functions at a very low level. No support & you will never get a call back you'll constantly chase then.
The tutors at this college are unprofessional and allow the bullying and isolation of their students whilst not supporting students who are struggling in their classes due to coming from disadvantaged backgrounds
