This hospice is by far outstanding in all areas, the doctors, nurses and assistant staff along with the caterers are overwhelmingly brilliant with masses of compassion, understanding & caring. I don’t know of any medical centres that surpass the care I’ve now received on two occasions of my stay at the hospice. A truly wonderful place to be helped with health conditions. This is not just a place for end of life care but for the more complexed health conditions such as pain control All this is done at the hospice which is set into beautiful surroundings , it has 3 ponds lawned landscapes with areas for reflection. It also has a variety of wildlife that visits the gardens too from small birds to ducks & pheasants from squirrels to roe dear. It’s truly an amazing place.nWhy not check out the Wigan &!Leigh Hospice online & show your support for a valuable service that depends on donations to serve people in need of 1st class clinical care.nYou can donate or support them with their lottery or simply use the hospice shop to give your support.nThank you.
I always donate to this charity because they provided excellent care to my uncle in his final months of life. It was over 20 years ago now and he passed away here of a brain tumor, he had been battling with for years.nnI was very young at the time and it broke his mother's heart, my grandmother. She outlived her own child and she was never the same since. However, she always spoke highly of WALH and the care provided by the staff. She has since passed away too, a long time ago now. I donate to the charity shops as often as I can and would urge anyone to do the same, you're safe in the knowledge that all funds go to helping people in their hour of need. On behalf of of my family thank you for the amazing work you provide in the Wigan and Leigh community

The staff at the hospice were fantastic very supportive, compassionate and understanding in a very difficult time for my family, they looked after my dad providing excellent palletive care for the last five days before he sadly passed away. The hospice itself is very nice it's clean, cosy and set in beautiful grounds which are very peaceful and well kept.
We cannot fault the staff and care they afforded my late husband. All were compassionate and caring. The accommodation was tasteful and appealing.My family and I will always remember your kindness and dedication to him before his passing. Thank you to all.
