The store boasts an extensive selection of products, and I've always found the staff to be helpful and efficient. However, my recent experience was overshadowed by an issue with the parking system. Despite making multiple trips to the store in a single day, I received a £100 fine through the post for overstaying the allotted time. This penalty was unjustified, as the parking camera failed to accurately capture my car leaving and entering.nFortunately, I was able to provide evidence of my purchases and car activity, including footage from my home camera system. Nonetheless, the entire ordeal caused undue stress and anxiety, not to mention the time it took to resolve the issue.nnAs a loyal customer who frequently makes significant purchases at Wickes stores this incident has left a sour taste in my mouth, and regrettably, I won't be patronizing Wickes again and taking my business elsewhere.
Unable to deliver item that was in stock in the branch, seemingly because there was no further stock at their warehouse. Very unimpressed with the branch and their complaints department so I have gone to a competitor. [Edit following owner's response below] - No, I won't spend my time 'reaching out' to you on social media - you couldn't resolve the issue in the branch, your complaints department just referred it to the sales team who couldn't resolve the problem and arrange for the goods to be supplied. You've taken enough of my time today.
I enjoy the friendly service at Wickes and I rarely go and don't manage to get what I need. I am a happy customer.
