Bought a 15 grand kitchen from them. Messed up so much we are on the 3rd work surface and a year has passed since we originally started the kitchen fit. A complete nightmare. They eventually said ‘we will give you the money for the work surface and you can have it fitted yourself’ This is not what we were sold! We now have to sort out alternative kitchen fitters to complete our kitchen one year on. Do you due diligence before parting with cash with Wickes!
Did not deliver my goods when promised, phoned customer service and they hung up. All I asked was where are my goods and for a refund of my delivery charge. Will not use again. Customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced, not the fault of the branch. Courier and customer service have let them down,

Great shop to pickup DIY supplies - 9 times out of ten they have everything im after at a resonable price
Me and my wife visited Wickes Barnstaple today and were very impressed with Ava who mixed our paint for us. She was very knowledgeable and her customer service was second to none. Would highly recommend paying her a visit if you need any pain mixing.

Today, 23/02/ 2022 at 12 noon, I went to the store in Barnstaple to ask advice and a lovely gentleman called Tom was extremely helpful, he gave me excellent advice. Also the young lady on the check out was also extremely helpful, thank you Wicks for having old fashioned values.
Second time now and the Barnstable branch had everything we needed. The shelves in the shop filled a few things missing maybe and staff ever so helpful. Not like B&Q Barnstable that has empty shelves and staff saying sorry but I can not help …
Great place to get all you need for the trade or DIY and with trade discount of 10% makes it competitive on most things especially if you shop when other offers are on . Very good selection of tiles and tiling accessories.
Clean, well layed out with wide aisles for Covid compliance. Shelves were well stocked. Could have had a few more staff on checkouts as this caused longer waiting times and a que near the exit. Overall a good experience. Thank you.
