Clean, tidy and always fully stocked! Great shop and good customer service.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Returns and refunds without stupid questions.
Many products outside did not have prices. I walked right through the store obviously looking for a something. There were several assistants around who took no notice of me I finally walked past 6 or 7 assistants talking together more interested in their conversations than customers and I walked out of the store with an empty trolley past them no one asked me 'Can I help?'
Reasonable stock, reasonable prices and quality but I always shop around because there's sometimes better quality or priced items at B&Q, Screwfix or Travis Perkins. Annoyingly the timber varies greatly in quality. Good customer service and friendly too. Parking is always easy and level access.
Wickets at it's best, good choice of items. Convenient location wit large car park, other shops in tje same location.
I used the Wickes Click and Collect service twice during lockdown for essential purchases. On both occasions the service was excellent requiring minimal contact. I was able to pre-book my time slot and amend the time as necessary. When I arrived at the store, my goods were waiting for me and the staff carried them out to my car for me.
This is a nice store, with excellent parking and a well laid out interior. However, the service needs improving significantly. I have nothing against young staff as long as they have knowledge. But many look vacant when asked a question while some display an "attitude" problem. Additionally, there have been times when only one person is on the checkout tills when there is a lengthy queue. This cannot be the way to manage a store and ultimately this is a management issue. I will continue to shop here for basic things as it is convenient for me, but many customers share my view of the store. If I need technical advice, I will go elsewhere.
One of the nicer Wickes stores around. Generally able to pick up what I need from them. Not always the cheapest but not far off so happy to support as the staff are friendly and stock is decent.
One of the better wickes around it's well laid out , plenty of stock easy to navigate
Not had a bad experience yet in this store. Used it many times for browsing, purchases and Collect purchases. Manager even priced matched similar product which admittedly shelf price was around £10 /item more expensive than B&Q. Happy so far.
