Very good selection of magazines, stationery & books available. Shop staff very helpful. This establishment now has the newly relocated Oldham Post Office operating here in less than a quarter of the space of the old Crown Office on Lord Street.
This store lighting needs to be upgraded to modern led panels. It’s dark and depressing inside. I feel sorry for the staff to work under this condition everyday. Fat cats at the top of the chain, get you lighting sorted = happier customers and staff = £££££
Just to let people know that the price in store is more expensive than online who knows why its like that but I've been ripped off the highway code book online is £2.12. I purchased it in store for £2.99 ridiculous what the heck
Had the misfortune to visit the post office counter in w.h.Smiths today. Spent 14 mins in line, down one of the aisles awaiting service. Normally, not one to complain, but nearing the counter noticed there was only one staff behind the counter and 1 staff on the floor helping people with packages etc. The 1 staff behind the counter was under siege from a growing line. Come on Post Office, 2 staff at least. Thank you.
Overpriced but the magazines section is well-stocked and you can occasionally get good reductions upstairs or in the confectionary section.
Can be a little pricey but has a quiet and calming atmosphere to the store. The books are always high quality and you mainly get what you pay for.
Store very dark. Cashier very solemn and devoid of character. Requested gratitude for paying the correct price for a book which is scheduled for a price increase.
It's a nice store and it's great that there is a New Post office there, so you can post your letters and pay your bills, but WH smiths is still very pricey.

Didn't have what I wanted, scruffy, lighting is too dim. Just feels it needs a really good clean and halve the amount of stock they have.
